Taken during Texas Antique Weekend in Round Top, Texas.
Here is a really cool shot of a bunch of antique billiard balls. These balls are well worn, and made from a range of different materials. You can see how some of them are cracked and old and probably not made from the material that today's pool balls are made from.

Here's some old balls I got with an old Brunswick mini pool table I got at a yard sale. It's about 2.5 by 5 feet and has folding wooden legs. The people at Brunswick seemed to think it was mad around 1918 or so. These balls are about 1.5 inches in diameter and though kind of cracked and faded they still have a lot of action in them. There's no striped balls - they're all soldid colors. I'm trying to find out if they are the right size for the table. I'm looking to restore it to a more playable condition. Right now the cushions seem dead or the balls are too small. I'm not really sure where the ball should hit the cushion - at the halfway mark? I'm a new user so I've got a lot to see on the site but the old balls caught my eye first.
