Welcome to the billiard, pool, and snooker glossary of terms. This is the definition of 7 Ball as it relates to cue sports. You can also view the entire billiard dictionary.
7 ball is generally a fast paced offensive game similar to 9-ball but only using balls numbered 1 through 7. Pocketing the 7-ball wins the game. Under the current professional rules of 7-ball, any missed shot gives your opponent ball-in-hand.
