A term used in snooker which references the position of the cue ball. Some snooker players use the term "high" interchangeably with "Above". The cue ball is considered above the object ball if it is off-straight on the baulk cushion side of the imaginary line for a straight pocket. It is also common to use the term "high" instead of "Above."
He'll want to finish above the blue in order to go into the pink and reds.
She'll want to finish high on the black to allow position on the red.
