The arc of the cue ball is the extent to which it curves as a result of a semi-masse or masse shot. Arc is also used to describe the path of the cue ball as a result these masse shots. The path, if traced, would form an arc.
Use a semi masse shot and shoot an arc around the 7 ball to hit the 6.
