Welcome to the billiard, pool, and snooker glossary of terms. This is the definition of Colors as it relates to cue sports. You can also view the entire billiard dictionary.
Colors refers to any ball in a snooker ball set that is not the cue ball nor any of the reds. A ball from the colors becomes the object ball when a red has been potted. After a colors ball has been potted, it is re-spotted until all reds are potted. At that time, the colors group becomes the object balls in the following order:
