Nipples is a billiard table term that refers to the corners of the cushions that form the opening of the billiard pocket. To be specific, the nipples refer only to the exact points at the end of each cushion.
You are going to have to be careful when you nurse that 10 ball in to the corner pocket because the nipple seems to be sticking out right in your way.
