Welcome to the billiard, pool, and snooker glossary of terms. This is the definition of Pill as it relates to cue sports. You can also view the entire billiard dictionary.
Pill is another term for pea, which refers to one of the numbered set of 15, and sometimes 16 peas. Each pill is used for various purposes depending on various game rules. Each of the various purposes are rooted in random assignment to players, be it a position in a tournament roster, or a particular ball assignment in kelly pool.
I'm missing the number six pill, so I don't have a full set.
