Point refers to the knuckle on a billiard table. It is the point that juts out where the pool table cushions taper off in toward the pockets. Various types of billiard tables will have point areas that jut out further than do others.
I don't think I can make that shot. It is possible, but the point is making it very tough. I have to thread the needle on that one.
