Definition of Bar Pool

Bar Pool is a billiards term that is a part of Game Rule Terminology.

Par pool is a type of billiards that follows rules that are commonly known as bar rules. Bar pool is a billiard game that is considered a little more less formal than league play. One common method for determining the order of play by a group of players on a coin operated table is through the placement of quarters on the edge of the table.
