Bigs is a term that is commonly used In 8 ball to reference that either the shooting player, or his or her opponent are to be shooting the striped suit of balls which are numbered 9 through 15. Compare bigs with stripes, or high, and contrast it with little or smalls. This term should not be confused with the carom billiards concept of a big ball.
