In snooker, the black ball is the highest valued color ball on the table. It is worth 7 points. Is some North American Snooker sets, it is numbered 7. In Billiards (North America) the black ball is normally the 8 ball. Not to be confused with the game of blackball.
I'm shooting at the black ball right now.
Since I have pocketed my entire group of balls, I now only need to legally pocket the 8 ball to win the game.
