The center spot is the spot at the exact geographic center of the playing surface or bed of a billiard or snooker table. The center spot is normally unmarked and imaginary, and is determined by the exact geometric point at which the center string and the long string intersect.
You lose the lag, you bared cleared the center spot with your ball, and mine came almost all the way back to the rail.
