The centre pocket is one of the two pockets in the middle of the long sides of a pocket billiard tables. As the title suggest, the centre pocket is located exactly half way down the long rail. The centre pocket is generally a more shallow cut than is a corner pocket due to the angles involved.
I'd shoot for the nine ball in the centre pocket.
