A term used in snooker to refer to a break of 100 points or greater. To accomplish this, the player must pot at least 25 balls consecutively. There are a few references out there which state 26 balls must be potted consecutively, but the true number is 25.
Century break is a scoring move that is not generally possible for the amateur player.
