Clearance - Billiard Term Definition

Clearance Definition

Clearance is a term used in snooker, and various other pool games in the UK that signifies a player's successful potting of all object balls that are currently in play in a single snooker frame. A player is said to have cleared up, or cleared the table. Also, if a snooker player compiles a break consisting of all 15 reds with colors, then the colors in sequence, this is known as a Total Clearance.
