Definition of Cluster

Cluster is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.

A group of balls lying close together, or actually touching, on the pool table's surface. Generally, advanced players have the skills to position themselves so that they can easily break up clusters before they become a problem. Clusters may also be purposely created by one player as a defensive play. If the player is shooting stripes, he or she may wish to cluster all of the solids so as to make a difficult situation for the opponent.

Cluster - Usage

There is no way I can run the table because all of the balls in my suit are in a cluster in the middle of the table.
