Definition of Coloured Balls

Coloured Balls is a billiards term that is a part of Snooker Terminology.

In North American pool, the coloured balls are the suits of solids and stripes that make up the 15 ball set. In blackball billiards, the coloured balls are the groups of reds and yellows. The term coloured balls, however, is primarily used in snooker to refer to any ball that is not part of the reds and that is not the cue ball.
