Definition of Corner Pocket

Corner Pocket is a billiards term that is a part of Pool Table Terminology.

Corner pocket refers to any one of the four total corner pockets in a pocket billiard or snooker table. Different tables will boast different sized corner pockets, including depth and width. For example, North American style billiard tables are cut as such that two object balls can be pocketed simultaneously side by side. Corner pocket cuts have a 90 degree aperture, versus the 180 degree apertures.
