When players are said to be playing dead pop, they are said to be executing billiard shots with such a high degree of perfection. They do so without any conscious effort. A billiard player who is playing dead pop up makes their shots look effortless and play as though they are in the zone.
Roger has had the dead pop all night so I wouldn't bet against him.
