Definition of Gapper

Gapper is a billiards slang term that is a part of Gambling and Betting Terminology.

A gapper is a form of verbal and private contract or agreement between the players or teams in a given billiard tournament. In the gapper agreement, one player or team will advance to take a cash purse if the match is won, and give a certain portion or percentage of that cash purse to the losing player or team.
