In carom billiard games, a gather shot is a shot that is made with the goal of bringing all of the balls near each other. Normally this is desirable in that it allows the beginning of a nurse shot on the next play or stroke.
Whip out a gather shot and bring the 2 ball and the 6 ball together in the banking lane.
