A gully table is a cue sport table that features a ball return system, as opposed to one that features drop pockets. A gully table has a system of gullies attached to aid in automatic ball return with the help of gravity.
I'm from back in the day, and I call a table with a ball return system a gully table, because it uses a system of gullies to return the balls to a collection box.
