Definition of In Play

In Play is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.

Balls that are in play are balls that are out in the open enough such that they are pocketable from a wide range of cue ball positions, as opposed to out of play.

In Play - Usage

The 5 ball and the 6 ball are in play, so take your pick big man.
