The term in stroke refers to a player whose timing and cueing of the balls is quite good, and or in good form. A player who is in good stroke appears to have great timing and cueing of the ball, and seems to easily invoke clarity of thinking, safety play, and otherwise pocketing the intended balls. In Stroke can also be known as a melding of appropriate judgment, confidence, finesse, and accuracy. In stroke is said to happen during the course of most billiard matches.
