Lengthen A Bank is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.

To lengthen a bank means to use soft speed, or running english in order to gain a more open rebound angle on a bank shot.

Lengthen A Bank - Usage

Just use some light speed with a little running english on that 6 ball, and you'll lengthen that bank nicely right in to the corner pocket.
