Nurse Definition

A nurse is a technique used in carombole games like balkline billiards, straight rail billiards and cushion carom games. With the nurse technique, all of the balls are purposely kept near each other and in a group which is lined up along a cushion. The player can, with very soft shots, nurse the entire group of balls down the rail on multiple shots. Each shot leaves the remainder of the group of balls exactly as they were on the rail. Players then replicate the same shot until all balls are pocketed. Variations of the game of balkline billiards were developed as a result of skilled players executing, and making, excessive amounts of these nurse shots.

Nurse Usage

You can just nurse the cue ball between those two object ball.
