Overcut - Billiard Term Definition

Overcut Definition

In billiards, overcut occurs when the object ball is struck with too great of a cut angle. Essentially it is hit too thin. Generally though, it has been suggested, and repeated throughout the ages, that overcutting is better than undercutting.
