Pro side is short for professional side, or professional side of the pocket. To play a ball pro side is to shoot it with intent for overcutting it rather than undercutting it, because of the benefits an overcut gives the shooting player on a missed shot.
Hit the 3 ball to the side pocket, but hit it pro side, and you should pot it.
