The term road map refers to a billiard table spread or layout in which the object balls are optimally positioned around the table as such that the shooting player should have an easy time performing a run out. That player is said to have a road map in that situation.
Oh, it's over now. He just broke, pocketed the 4 ball, and has a freaking road map now with the layout of the remaining balls.
