When you sell the farm in billiards, you are essentially committing an extreme error where you not only miss your own shot, but you miss in such a way that leaves the opponent an extremely well positioned table. At this juncture, you are likely to lose the match, and thus, any money you have riding on it.
Oh no. He just screwed it so badly but I didn't think he'd sell the farm with that shot.
