A semi masse is a type of shot with a moderate curve applied to the cue ball during the execution of the shot. While the semi masse is being executed, the cue stick is normally elevated and the cue ball hit with english. A semi masse is a shot where a curve results that is about half as steep as a masse shot.
Use a semi masse shot and you'll clear the 2 ball and hit the 3 ball square.
