Side english refers to striking the cue ball to the left or right of center. The term side english is not the technical term, and should be used with caution in discussion with other billiard players. Side english is a type of english, and is for form of ball control. It is considered a more advanced billiard technique.
I wish I knew how to apply side english! It looks so cool when the pro billiard players.
