Spider Definition

A Spider is a type of rest that is rather similar to a North American rake bridge, but that has longer legs. Because of a spider's longer legs, the spider's head sits at a higher level which in turn causes the cue to sit higher. This allows the shooting player to be able to reach over or around obstructions such as other object balls.

Spider Usage

Pass the spider, mate.
