A spot shot is a shot where the object ball is placed on the foot spot down table and the cue ball is place somewhere in the kitchen. The spot shot occurs a lot with one pocket and 8-Ball usually after a foul. The spot shot actually has a well known aiming system that works in conjunction with the diamond system.
Do you know how to do a spot shot? If you do, just use that shot, and you shouldn't scratch.
