Definition of Sucker Shot

Sucker Shot is a billiards slang term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.

A sucker shot is a shot that would be played only by a player of low skill and game knowledge. A sucker shot, if taken, would likely result in a scratch or foul, because it would leave the opponent in a very good position, or because it has an extremely low chance of being pocketed.
