A tally bottle is a bottle that is used in different billiard games to hold numbered peas.
The tally bottle's purpose is so that the numbered peas can be mixed up before being drawn by the players.
The practice of drawing peas serves to allocate random spots to the players.
In kelly pool, the tally bottle serves to assign randomized peas to the players.
