A wet table occurs in humid conditions, when it is observed that a table is playing with the characteristics that dampness typically brings. These characteristics include slower rolling balls, balls that seem to stick together more, and cushion that seem to play shorter.
This wet table is driving me crazy. These conditions are unacceptable, and this pool hall needs a damn air conditioner.
The term "wet table" is considered to be a slang term related to pool tables. The wet table definition was entered on 5/19/2006 and was updated on 10/24/2007 9:50:15 AM.
