Help! Trying to Identify a Pool Cue

I have this cue that I received from my brother. (who passed away) It loos like it has never been used, and as I really only ever play bar room pool occasionally. I don't know if it is worth anything. Was wondering if anyone could help me.. this is a link to a picture of the cue

    Hello and welcome.

    Can you look the cue over very well, and let us know if there are any identifying markings of any kind? numbers, words, letters, images?

    I don't see anything anywhere on this cue... but, I don't know if it helps but I was given it in a case ( a black case with blue velvet on the inside the top cover says imperial) I have treied to call our local billards dealer ( I am in the middle of nowhere..LOL) and he told me to post here that someone here might know a bit more about what I have... Thanks to anyone who can help.

    I'm sorry about your brother. Imperial makes and sells both cases and cues, but none in sets. Unfortunately without any identifying markings on the cue itself it will be difficult. Can you put a date range on when this may have been purchased? If not, you could try contacting Imperial on the off chance that they'll be able to identify it...

    Thank you for your help... I will contact them and see what they say... If I would have to guess when he purchased it I would guess 12-15 years ago. I know he got it before he got married (1998) and he passed away in 2005.. so that would have to be my guess.. thanks for your help.. and your kind words..
