9 Foot vs. 8 Foot Pool Table for a Home

9 Foot vs. 8 Foot Pool Table for a Home

Question for all you folks with more experience with home billiard tables:

If you were only going to buy one quality pool table in your life, for your home, and do most of your playing on that pool table, would you buy a 9 foot pool table?

I may only play in local pool tournaments once in a while, and most of those would be on 8 ft. billiard tables.

In a heart beat. You pretty much answered your own question. "quality table" being the key.

But if you had the room - and the 9 and 8 were close in price - I'd take the 9 every day.
