I was trying to find some information on a steel brunswick pool table also and wonder if it might be a vestal table. I bought it from someone on the south side of chicago in 1977 and have never assembled it. It has 6 steel legs and a metal frame with an automatic ball return. I think the slate is 2" thick and is in three sections. The legs are sort of sculpted into a spanish revival style and are white. Someone told be it was from the 20s but I've never been able to find a picture of it anywhere. Does this sound what your'e looking at? Richard King

I have a table that I am trying to figure out what model it is. Is this the vestal steel you are talking about? It does not have a ball return. Please see pic. However, I am having trouble loading pics. The table is how you describe with the exception of the ball return. Any way anybody can post a picture of this model of table?Go to Top of Page

Images have been received from the member, here they are. He also said in his email:

Hope you can help!! I will attempt to move the frame and the slate soon to get any identifying marks or numbers from it.

At the bottom of the post there is pictures the frame work looks the same as mine but my legs are smooth metal instead of pressed as pictured. My table also has a ball return that I can't find any info on> the return has rails inlaid with rubber, look nothing like what is on the Brunswick site

As far as I can tell my table is a Vestal but not sure. I have taken picture of the whole assemble process to date just finished the joints between the slate tonight might get cloth on this weekend and then I will try to post pictures
