I am in the process of looking for a used billiard table. I have come across two used tables. The first is a Mr. Billiards Ambrosia model that is at least 6 years old and the other is a Proline St. John's with light oak veneer that was purchased from a show room 3 years ago. Both are 8' tables and 3-piece slate, I believe both have 1" slate. The owner of the Mr. Billiards table has a ping pong table that gets placed on top of it, which I don't care about.

What's your opinion?

Buy the Proline. If you can't tell the difference in those two brands it is obvious that you know very little about furniture and quality. Proline is made in USA Mr. Billiard is China

Yup, thanks for clearing that up. Attitude is much appreciated. I guess the fact that I was buying used and they were both almost an hour away in different directions I was looking for personnal experience. I chose not to buy either one and ended up buying a new Olhausen. Thanks again.Go to Top of Page
