This is the easiest way of moving the cue ball up the table without the risk of scratching into the middle pocket.
Place an object ball about where the 1-ball is. Strike the cue ball about a tip below center to stun up the table to position A, ready to play the 2-ball dead straight in the corner.
Repeat the drill (reset the original shot) for the 3, 6 and 8 balls into the same corner pocket as you played the 2.
To make sure you have played the shot well enough, pot the corresponding ball you were playing position for. Targets you can set this up either side of the table.
