  1. Rack all 15 balls, making certain that the 8-ball is in the middle and the head ball is on the spot.
  2. As soon as the player strikes the cue ball the clock starts.
  3. The player is to pocket all balls, ensuring that the eight ball is the last ball to be pocketed.
  4. The cue ball must come to a stop between shots. Any other ball may be in motion as long as the cue ball has stopped completely.

The folling items constitute penalties. The consequences are listed after each item.

  1. Scratching on the break shot. (5 second penalty added to time) In this case, time continues with the head ball behind the headstring.
  2. Scratch during the game (10 second penalty)
  3. Sending the cue ball off of the billiard table. (10 second penalty) In this case, the ball goes in the pocket.
  4. When the cue ball misses the object ball(s) completely. (10 second penalty)
  5. Push Shot (10 second penalty)
  6. If the cue ball goes directly for the 8 ball. (10 second penalty)
  7. If the cue ball is pocketed out of turn. (Loss of game)
