HGTV Makes Converting Living Room to Billiard Room Easy. A while ago, they did an episode about a couple who wanted to convert their living room in to a home billiard room. From the show, though rather commercialized, came some good billiard room decorating ideas that all home pool room owners can incorporate.
The did a few things like use patterned industrial carpet, to make the room more vibrant, and to avoid showing wear and tear. They made the room feel more like a pool hall by making a wall with various black and white personal photos in black frames.They covered the walls in a gray flannel and batting in order to act as a sound barrier. The color is tied in nicely by the black photo frames mentioned above.
