The average length of a cue is 57" but the form allows the user to factor in various cue lengths. It then doubles the cue length and adds it to the dimensions of the table for a safe margin. For example, a 4' x 8' table is 48" x 96". Add a cue length to each side, for 48" + 57" + 57" x 96" + 57" + 57" = 13.5' x 17.5.
