Colors refers to any ball in a snooker ball set that is not the cue ball nor any of the reds. A ball from the colors becomes the object ball when a red has been potted. After a colors ball has been potted, it is re-spotted until all reds are potted. At that time, the colors group becomes the object balls in the following order:
