A fat shot is a shot that is hit straight on, as opposed to with an angle. A full shot is the same as a fat shot. Fat refers to the size of the cut angle on a shot that is undercut, or that is performed by a player who is known for undercutting.
You hit that 5 ball to fat. Yeah, some serious undercutting.
