A fish is a pool player and/or gambler who loses money, and willingly comes back for more. Because of the willingness to keep coming back after a loss, the fish is an easy mark. A fish may also be a pool player who just hits the ball quickly and with power but without any regard for where it goes in hopes for a fluke. The fish is second in the categorized food chain of pool and billiards. The food chain is ordered as follows: shark, fish, minnows, guppies, and then algae. Algae is the least skilled player and the least likely to win a game of billiards.
Gary is an absolute fish. He always looses, and everyone always hooks him into a game.
