Definition of Golden Break

Golden Break is a billiards term that is a part of Game Rule Terminology.

A golden break, in nine ball, is a break shot that result in the 9 ball being potted without committing a foul of any kind. The golden break is called golden because the shooting player actually wins the game in this one shot.
