Natural refers to a shot that is considered to be very easy and that requires only basic billiard skills to make, and is normally used in a pocket billiard context. A natural shot requires no english. In three cushion billiards, the natural is the easiest and most standard shot for which the third ball has a corner placement. This corner placement is considered advantageous.
